At Staddle Home Co., I guide each project from the first site walk to the final key handoff, with clarity, calm, and a strong sense of what matters. I don’t follow the typical contractor playbook. There are no surprise markups or confusing costs. Just clear, honest pricing and a shared goal: to build a small, beautiful home that reflects your values, respects your budget, and lasts longer than expected.
While I don’t provide architectural drawings myself, I regularly collaborate with architects who specialize in efficient, sustainable structures. If you don’t already have a designer on board, I’ll help connect you with the right one, someone who understands the importance of scale, flow, and the systems you plan to build with.
This isn’t about squeezing in square footage. It’s about building something that feels right, and works hard for the life you want to live.
Based in southern midcoast Maine, Staddle Home Co. serves projects generally within 1.5 to 3 hours of Portland and Georgetown, including but not limited to: Sagadahoc County, Lincoln County, Knox County, York County, Southern Waldo and Kennebec Counties, and the Greater Portland region.
Focusing on projects in Maine also allows me to help clients take full advantage of the state’s newly adopted ADU legislation (Title 30-A, §4364-B), which makes it easier than ever to add a small dwelling to an existing property. Whether it’s for a family member, future rental income, or long-term flexibility, these small, self-contained homes can create lasting value and possibility. It’s one more way a well-designed, well-placed structure can quietly serve the people who live there, and the land it’s built on.
Remote coordination outside this area may be considered on a case-by-case basis for the right project.
