Overview
Staddle Home Co. was created in direct response to a clear need: aspirational homeowners in Maine want to build small, beautiful, sustainable homes, but many don’t know where to begin. And some quietly rule it out, assuming a skilled builder is only an option for the few.
And in some corners of the building world, that’s not far from the truth. Somewhere along the way, building became more show than shelter. I believe there’s a better way: simpler, smarter, and rooted in clarity, care, and good design.
I step in early to bridge the gap between vision and execution, offering complete project oversight from permitting through completion. Whether it’s a single dwelling or a multi-unit development, I tailor the process to match the project, not inflate it. I help shape homes that feel thoughtful, grounded, and entirely possible for people who may have thought they couldn’t build at all.
Having led the design and construction of my own home, Moss House, built with carbon-sequestering panels and now a highly sought-after short-term rental, I’m offering that model as a replicable path. For clients who want something livable, lasting, and, in some cases, income-generating, I help explore low-impact systems and sustainable building solutions that serve both the land and the long term.
